PLAYING BLACKJACK: Step by step
From this page you can view the options for playing every possible hand in blackjack perfectly, so you may want to add it to your bookmarks and refer to it while you're playing. I'll assume you are familiar with the basics of blackjack, but you can learn the rules quickly at an online casino.

The first thing you will probably want to do is test how well the system works. If you go to Starluck Casino you can download their casino software for free and play with play money. Once you're set up consult the chart below to find the perfect play for each situation. Play as long as you like with any stakes you want, but keep the stakes at the same level or you will let good/bad luck creep in.

The beauty of this system is that the roles of casino and gambler are reversed, YOU have to be patient while the casino has to get lucky, because it WILL benefit you in the end. On average, at the end of play, you you will be slightly down on your starting amount (by 0.5%, the house advantage). SYSTEM RULES

If the dealer shows 2 or 3 take cards until you have 13 or more.

If the dealer shows 4 5 or 6 take cards until you have 12 or more.

If he shows 7 8 9 10 or Ace take cards until you have 17 or more.

If you have an Ace in your hand, keep taking cards until you have 19 against the dealer's 9 10 or Ace, 18 for anything else. When your Ace can only count as a 1, refer to the above rules.

Double your 2 card total of 11 against anything less.

Double your 2 card total of 10 against anything less.

Double your 2 card total of 9 against 3 4 5 or 6.

Double Ace 7, Ace 6 against 3 4 5 or 6.

Double Ace 5 Ace 4 against 4 5 or 6.

Double Ace 3 Ace 2 against 5 or 6.

Always split Ace's and 8's.

Never split 10's 5's or 4's.

Split 9's against 2 3 4 5 6 8 or 9 only.

Split 7's against 2 3 4 5 6 and 7.

Split 6's against 3 4 5 and 6.

Split 2's and 3's against 4 5 6 and 7.

Don't ever take Insurance.

H = Hit/Take another card

S = Stand/Take no cards

D = Double Down

START EARNING: Your first game
Winning your first $100 using this system is an exhilirating experience, knowing that you have a new, guaranteed source of income limited only by the number of casinos out there. When you're ready to play for real money you will want to find the best bonus deals. The casino guide has a list of reputable casinos with information on bonuses, wager requirements, and the house's edge percentage.

For your first real money game you might want to deposit only a small amount, but statistically you are more likely to be successful if you deposit the maximum allowed by the bonus (for example 100% bonus match up to $100, - you'll get $100 free if you deposit $100). Play the lowest stakes possible as this is your first real money game, it may take you several hours to reach the wager requirement, but at low stakes your chances of going bust are vanishingly small.

WORK OUT A STRATEGY: slow and steady or fast and furious
Playing at the lowest stakes it might take you around four or five hours to hit the wager limit, but once you get a taste for easy profits you'll probably want to play faster and raise the stakes. By playing higher stakes you can hit several casinos a day and start earning four figure sums per week. You might think that this will decrease your profits because you are more likely to be affected by an unlucky streak and go bust but this is not the case.

You will bust out of casinos more often because losing streaks will swing your balance more violently but this applies equally to winning streaks - you are much more likely to leave a casino with a huge profit than you are playing slow, low stakes. The important thing here is not to take each casino in isolation but to view each as part of a chain in which the fluctations of luck will eventually even out.

The chart on the right will help you plan your strategy. The pink numbers represent the amount of betting units you have. Say you have $100 in your account and want to play $2 stakes, you will have 50 betting units. If you have to play 500 hands to reach the wager requirment of $1000, the chances of you doubling your stack to 100, or losing it all are 5% for each. This means if you play 20 casinos you will probably bust out of one, and double up on one. The effect of losing your bonus and deposit one time in twenty is cancelled out by the effect of doubling up one in twenty. As you can see the lower the stakes (the more betting units you have) the lower the chance of doubling or busting, but you will have to play more games. Use this chart to work out how often you are likely to bust given the stakes you play at so it doesn't come as a surprise.

CASHING OUT: cha-ching
Once you have got a good grasp of the odds you can plan your own perfect system for milking the bonuses from blackjack casinos. You can even have a go at playing ultra high stakes such as $50/hand by planning to hit 50 casinos in a row. Over the course of this strategy your win rate will even out overall leaving you with a huge stash of bonuses and upwards of 5k in the bank! You could manage this in a week, though it may not be for all players. But once you've got a few $100 banked you will find that stepping up the stakes pays dividends in the long run. You will save a great deal of time and will have to deal with fewer (but bigger) cash-outs. If you want to avoid getting bored, note which casinos have an autoplay/expert mode feature (see casino guide). You can leave the game playing while you go and do something else.

Getting paid is always the best part of the job. Don't try to cash out before you hit the wager requirements, they'll think you're taking the piss and you could get blacklisted, though I have got away with this a few times. Just to be on the safe side, leave the money in for a few days, then cash out two thirds or three quarters. Play a bit more with the rest until you are well over the wager requirements, say 17X if the WR is 15X, then repeat, or just cash out. Generally the casino will pay directly back onto your card or whatever you used to deposit, but sometimes they offer a wire bank transfer (good) or a banker's draft (not so good, takes time to get to you). It's probably worth setting up an e-payment account with someone like neteller.com, payments in and out are instant so it cuts down on the hassle. What I've been doing recently is having a 'cash out day' every couple of weeks when I clear out all my accounts.

Many casinos are now offering rolling bonuses - they will offer a bonus with every deposit you make, so as long as the bonus is above 0.5%, the advantage is yours (average rolling bonus is 20%).
